Table bookings for restaurants, bars and venues

Your entire booking system, in one line of HTML.

Covers are still being lost to a ringing phone, an unread DM and a paper diary at the door. Paste one line into the website you already have and ChairHog takes the booking, seats the table and runs the service.

  • 14-day free trial
  • €35 per site, per month
  • Unlimited users — your whole team, no per-seat pricing
  • No commission, ever

Paste this into your website. That is the entire integration.

Test it out — copy that line into any page, even an HTML file on your desk, and a working demo restaurant appears. Book a table; nothing about it is real.

How it works

Open tonight. Set up this afternoon.

Three steps. No installation, no hardware, no consultant, no training week.

  1. 1

    Add your sites and tables

Enter each location, its opening times and sittings, then lay out the room by dragging tables onto a floor plan. ChairHog works out which tables can be put together for a larger party, so you stop doing that sum in your head.

  2. 2

    Give us your website address

Type in your URL and our smart system reads the site — colours, typeface, buttons, corners — then styles your booking page to match it. Minimal effort on your part: no design work, no developer, nothing to send over.

  3. 3

Paste one line in, and run service

Drop the embed code onto your page and you are taking bookings. Every one lands in the diary the second it is made, the guest gets a confirmation email, and tonight's covers, the waitlist and every arrival sit in one running order — on the laptop at the pass or on the phone in your hand on the floor.

See it working

This is what your guests see.

Have a go — it works. Pick a party size, a time and a table, exactly as somebody booking dinner at your place would. On your own site it carries your colours and your typeface, not ours.

  • Built for a thumb first. Most bookings arrive from a phone.
  • Tables already taken are shown as taken, so nobody books a table twice.
  • Three taps from landing on your page to holding a table.
  • The guest gets a confirmation email the moment they book, and a reminder before they arrive.
  • Styled automatically from your website address — no design work from you.

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial, with the whole system switched on. No card, and nothing to cancel if you decide it is not for you.

What you get

Everything a booking system needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Every feature on every account. There is one plan, and this is all of it.

The same diary on any device

ChairHog runs in the browser, so the phone in your pocket and the tablet at the pass show the same diary as the laptop in the office. Open today's service and take, move, seat or cancel a booking there and then — nothing to install, no desk required.

As many users as you need

Every person on your team gets their own account — owners, managers, hosts, the whole floor — at every site, with no limit and nothing extra to pay. Other systems cap the users on an account or charge per seat; ChairHog charges per site and never counts heads.

Styled from your own URL

Enter your website address and our smart system matches the booking page to your colours, typeface and buttons — automatically. Then one line of HTML puts it on your site: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or hand-written. Or let us host the booking page and link to it instead.

One diary, every site

Bookings from every location in a single list, calendar or day view. Switch between sites, or see the whole group at once.

Floor plans and table combining

Lay out each room by dragging tables into place. A party of eight is offered the two tables that go together, automatically.

Waitlist and walk-ins

Add walk-ins to the waitlist and seat them the moment a table turns. Nobody stands at the door with a biro and a paper list.

Guest records

Allergies, seating preferences, past visits and no-show history follow the guest across every site in your group.

Confirmations and reminders

Automatic confirmation, reminder and thank-you emails, sent from your own name and address. Fewer no-shows, and no chasing.

Analytics that answer questions

Occupancy by day and service, busiest sittings, no-show rate, how far ahead guests book, and how your sites compare.

Roles and two-factor

Owner, admin and user roles, so each person sees what they need to. Every account is protected by two-factor authentication as standard.

Your data, and your guests'

Looked after properly, and thrown away on time.

Your guests stay your guests

Guest details are held for you and nobody else. We do not market to your guests, we do not sell or share the data, and we do not pool it across venues. Delete a guest from your records whenever you choose, and closing your account deletes every booking and guest record with it.

Hosted on AWS, and defended

Everything runs on secure Amazon Web Services infrastructure, behind a web application firewall and DDoS protection. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and every ChairHog account is protected by two-factor authentication.

We never store payment details

Card numbers never touch our servers. Subscription payments are handled by a dedicated payment provider, so there is no card data of yours for us to lose — and none of your guests' either, because ChairHog does not take their money.

Pricing

€35 per site, per month. That is the whole price list.

Questions

The things everybody asks

One address where guests sit down. A restaurant group with locations in three cities has three sites and pays €105 a month. A single restaurant with two dining rooms is one site — the rooms are just areas on the floor plan.

Every account gets 14 days free, with the entire system switched on — every site you want to set up, the booking widget on your own website, real bookings from real guests, the floor plans, the waitlist, the lot. It is not a cut-down version and there is no feature waiting behind an upgrade. If you decide against it, do nothing and it stops.

No. Most booking systems cap the number of users on an account, or charge per seat, so a busy venue ends up sharing logins or paying for the floor team one by one. ChairHog does neither: add every owner, manager, host and server as their own account, at every site, and the price stays €35 per site. Accounts are per person, not per device — one account signs in on the office laptop and on that person's phone at the same time — and a manager who covers two sites uses one account at each.

No. ChairHog charges €35 per site per month and nothing else — no commission per cover, no fee per booking, no charge for a busy Saturday. Your guests book on your website, so they stay your guests.

No. The widget is one line of HTML that you paste into the site you already have, whether that is WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or something a developer built for you. Give us the address and the booking page is styled to match what is already there. If you would rather not touch your site at all, ChairHog can host the booking page for you and you link to it.

You do. ChairHog holds guest details on your behalf and does nothing else with them — we do not market to your guests and we do not sell or share the data. Delete a guest whenever you choose, and closing your account deletes it all. The detail is in our privacy policy.

Yes. ChairHog runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install: sign in on the tablet at the pass or the phone in your pocket and you get the same diary you would see on a laptop. Today's service shows every arrival as it lands, and from there you can take, move, seat or cancel a booking without going back to a desk. The ten accounts included with each site work on any device, and every account is protected by two-factor authentication.

One line of HTML. Every table, sorted.

Tell us how many sites you run and we will have you taking bookings on your own website.
